When Incentives Stop Following Behavior
Hmmm… this morning inside , I did exactly what worked yesterday same route, same timing. But the result shifted. Not randomly. Quietly different. Since Stacked surfaced around March 27, 2026, I’ve been testing patterns daily. It feels subtle, but real. Rewards aren’t fixed anymore they’re interpreted.
Stacked works like an AI economist. It reads behavior, groups players, then adjusts incentives. Simple loops earn less; mixed actions get nudged higher. Yes, this helps reduce bot farming and improves retention. But it also reshapes intent.
As traders, we used to follow incentives. Now incentives watch us back. That’s progress… maybe. Or quiet control.
So I keep asking are we optimizing economies, or training ourselves to fit them?
