AI adoption in the US is being led by high-income professionals.
More than 66% of Americans earning over $200,000 used AI over the past year, while among those making less than $50,000, that figure was just 15.9%. Usage is also much higher among college graduates, which suggests AI is spreading fastest through the most educated and best-paid parts of the workforce.
At the same time, around 68% of AI users say these tools make their work significantly easier, and 56.7% report higher productivity. AI is clearly becoming a real advantage for the part of the labor market that already has the most leverage.
