Nearly one in four jobs worldwide — around 838 million jobs — could be impacted by generative AI, with younger workers, women, and highly educated employees facing the greatest risks, according to Bank of America, citing data from the International Labour Organization.
“Globally, around one in four jobs is exposed to AI. Younger workers, women, and highly educated workers are the most exposed,” said economists at Bank of America, led by Benson Wu, in a note.
