Starting May 15, trading in Ethiopian Birr (ETB) will no longer be available on Binance.
This news honestly feels disappointing. For many of us in Ethiopia, it wasn’t just about trading it was about access, opportunity, and being part of the global digital economy. Losing ETB support creates a real gap, especially for beginners and small investors who relied on it.
Yes, our accounts and funds remain safe, but the convenience and inclusion we had are now reduced.
