A liquidity sweep happens when price takes a visible high or low where stops are likely resting, then fails to continue. The sweep alone is not enough. A bullish idea needs price to take the low and reclaim the level; a bearish idea needs price to take the high and reject back below. The psychology is trapped traders: breakout traders enter late, stops trigger, and then the market reverses. In futures, the edge comes from waiting for the reclaim or rejection, not guessing during the wick. 🧭
