Arkham Data reported more than $1 billion in $BTC outflows over the past year from wallets associated with Bhutan, reducing tracked balances from roughly 13,000 BTC to about 3,100 BTC. Some flows reportedly reached trading entities and a Top-tier exchange, though public interpretation remains split between selling, custody, collateral, or structured transactions.
The key issue is attribution. On-chain movement does not automatically confirm spot selling, and DHI has not confirmed the address activity or current holdings. Traders should monitor whether future flows hit liquid venues, as sustained distribution could influence supply expectations, especially around sovereign reserve narratives.
