Before boarding Air Force One in China, members of the American delegation, including President Trump, dumped everything they had received during the visit into a trash bin at the foot of the stairs.

This included accreditations, disposable phones, badges, and other items given by Chinese officials.

Due to extreme cybersecurity concerns, the entire US delegation used only “burner” phones. Their personal devices were stored on the plane in Faraday bags that block all signals.
