Italy’s biggest bank, Intesa Sanpaolo, raised its crypto holdings to $235M in Q1 2026, increasing $ETH exposure and adding $ETH + $XRP positions.

The bank also boosted Coinbase holdings, added BitGo shares, while European banks continue expanding crypto services. A euro-backed stablecoin by major banks is also in the works.
