Today marks the ANNIVERSARY of the 10,000 $BTC pizza order.

On this day in 2010, Laszlo Hanyecz posted on BitcoinTalk:

"I'll pay 10,000 bitcoins for a couple of pizzas..."

He later became the first person ever to spend Bitcoin on a real-world good.

At BTC’s ATH, that pizza order was worth over $1.26 BILLION.
