$EBTC EXPLOIT SHOCKS MONAD 🚨

Echo Protocol on Monad was reportedly exploited, with an attacker minting 1,000 $EBTC worth about $76.64M, according to Lookonchain. The attacker used part of the funds to borrow 11.3 $WBTC, bridged value to Ethereum, swapped into 385 $ETH and routed it through Tornado Cash.

The key pressure point: the attacker still holds 955 $EBTC worth about $73.2M. That means most of the stolen supply has not moved yet. Any movement from here could hit liquidity, sentiment, and risk controls fast.
