🚨 CORPORATE SHAKEUP: Meta is reportedly cutting 10% of its global workforce tomorrow as the company aggressively restructures around AI.
📉 Around 8,000 employees are expected to be laid off on Wednesday, while another 7,000 workers will reportedly be reassigned to AI-focused divisions.
⚠️ That means nearly 20% of Meta’s workforce is being either laid off or shifted into AI operations during a single restructuring wave.
Meta has also canceled 6,000 unfilled job openings as the company pushes deeper into artificial intelligence and cost-cutting efforts.
📊 The company had 77,986 employees at the end of March. After the layoffs, the workforce is expected to fall to roughly 70,000.
More layoffs could reportedly arrive later this year, with additional rounds rumored for August and late 2026.
