$OPEN Every cycle we get another “next big chain” that supposedly fixes crypto forever.

Then real traffic hits and everything starts choking.

That’s why I’m at least watching OpenLedger. Not because of the AI buzzword spam. The market already beat that narrative into the ground. But because the core idea actually makes some sense.

People act like scalability is solved until users actually show up.

Even Solana — which honestly feels smoother than most chains — still struggles once activity gets crazy. That’s not hate. That’s just what happens when networks get stressed.

And honestly, one chain handling AI agents, data, DeFi, gaming, payments, and everything else was always unrealistic.

Splitting load across multiple ecosystems probably makes more sense long term.

OpenLedger focusing on liquidity for data, models, and agents is at least aiming at a real infrastructure problem instead of launching another empty “high TPS” chain nobody uses.

Still, adoption is the hard part. Liquidity doesn’t move just because tech is better. Crypto already proved that multiple times.

So yeah. I’m cautious. But I get the logic.

It might work. Or nobody shows up.
