The more I watch the AI market, the less I believe “bigger” automatically means “better.” Most companies do not need a model that can talk about everything. They need one that understands their customers, their workflow, and their problems better than anyone else. That is why specialized language models feel more valuable to me than general-purpose AI right now.

What makes OpenLedger interesting is the idea that data, models, and agents can finally be tracked and rewarded properly. Once attribution becomes transparent, niche AI stops looking like a smaller version of ChatGPT and starts looking like a real business asset with measurable value.

I think the market is slowly realizing this too. General AI gets attention, but specialized AI keeps the revenue. The next winners may not be the biggest models on the internet, but the focused ones solving one expensive problem extremely well.
