Echo Protocol, a Bitcoin-focused DeFi platform, has reported a $77M exploit after an attacker allegedly used a compromised admin key to mint roughly 1,000 unauthorized eBTC on the Monad blockchain. In response, the team has paused all cross-chain transactions while it investigates and works to contain the incident.
