OPEN vs Fetch.ai (ASI Alliance)
Fetch.ai merged with Ocean and SingularityNET to form the ASI Alliance, which is a serious move. More resources, broader scope, combined communities. OpenLedger is newer and narrower, focused specifically on data attribution and making AI payable at the protocol level. The problem is OPEN token is sitting roughly 91% below its all time high since listing. Fetch has also struggled price wise but its ecosystem depth is incomparable right now. OpenLedger has good backers like Polychain and real partnerships with Story Protocol and LayerZero. The technology angle is genuinely different. But different does not mean winning. Builder adoption is the real test and that story has not been written yet.
