I’ve been around long enough to know that markets don’t wait for utility anymore. They wait for language. The right narrative appears, liquidity follows, and suddenly infrastructure gets priced like inevitability before anyone proves they actually need it.

That’s what keeps pulling my attention back toward OpenLedger.

Not because it’s finished. Not because adoption is obvious. Mostly because the friction feels real.

Everyone talks about monetizing data, models, agents — as if ownership in AI is already understood. But when I look closer, most users still give their data away without thinking. Most models are consumed, not valued. Agents are still experiments dressed as products. The behavior hasn’t caught up to the architecture.

And yet the market keeps circling it.

I notice how fast conviction forms around systems that still require explanation. How attention arrives before habit. How valuation expands while usage remains conditional. OpenLedger sits directly inside that disconnect — between what sounds necessary and what people actually reach for daily.

I’m not convinced. But I’m not ignoring it either.

Sometimes infrastructure arrives too early and disappears quietly.

Sometimes it waits years before the world realizes it was already there.
