What caught my attention wasn’t the chain layer. It was how OpenLedger keeps score.
Data moves through submission, validation, model linkage, then value returns through attribution. Contributors are not just feeding models they are positioning themselves inside future reward paths.
The tension is obvious though.
Reward farmers can optimize volume, while real contributors optimize signal quality because cleaner provenance stays attached to model output longer.
That makes me wonder if OpenLedger is even competing as a blockchain anymore.
Maybe it is quietly becoming the ledger machine intelligence uses to remember where value came from.
