Most AI crypto projects are just narrative farming with a chatbot attached.
OpenLedger is at least trying to solve a real problem: AI companies are extracting billions from user data while contributors get nothing once that data enters training pipelines.
That’s the core idea behind OPEN.
Not “decentralized AGI.” Not robot agent hype.
Ownership.
The interesting part is their attempt at attribution — tracking which datasets actually contribute to model outputs and rewarding contributors over time.
Hard problem though. Maybe too hard. AI models are messy and attribution at scale isn’t clean at all.
Still, I’d rather watch teams attack difficult infrastructure problems than launch another AI memecoin pretending to be a protocol.
That alone puts OpenLedger ahead of most of the sector right now.
