I keep circling back to one idea when I look at @OpenLedger and similar experiments in AI infrastructure.
The industry still behaves like compute is the main currency more GPUs, bigger clusters, faster inference. That story made sense when everything was about scale.
But something subtle is changing in the background.
The focus is slowly shifting toward attribution trying to measure which data, models, or contributors actually influence outputs downstream.
If that becomes real and reliable, compute stops being the center of value and becomes just plumbing.
The interesting layer becomes contribution quality and influence weight.
In that world, AI doesn’t just reward power. It starts rewarding participation in shaping intelligence itself.
