Okay guys let me tell you somthing it was around 2:13am when I noticed another quiet shift happening inside decentralized AI infrastructure. Not price. Efficiency. That’s the part most peopl still are not watching closely enough.

I have been tracking ModelFactory lately because it moved away from the old “throw more GPUs at the problem” approach and leaned harder into LoRA + QLoRA optimization. From what I’m seeing, that changes the economics completely. Smaller distributed nodes can suddenly participate in workloads that used to belong only to expensive GPU clusters.

You know the interesting part is how OpenLedger fits into this. Private datasets stay usable inside modular AI systems while inference activity gets verified directly on-chain through deterministic validation. That creates traceability most AI stacks still lack.

and on that time still I keep wondering how far aggressive 4-bit quantizaton can really go before reasoning quality starts slipping under pressure.

That’s probably the real test for decentralized AI now.
