I keep thinking reputation systems only look optional until history starts compounding. By then the early records already own the advantage.
Inside OpenLedger I’ve seen the loop clearly data submission turns into validation, validated work gets attributed on-chain, and that history feeds future monetization paths.
The tension is obvious though. Real contributors build signal while Sybil participants chase reward extraction with low quality inputs.
What gets missed is that attribution itself becomes the asset. Early wallets stack verifiable contribution history while late entrants start with none and enter after credibility is already priced in.
