Before reading about @OpenLedger I kept thinking the biggest challenge in AI was building smarter models. Now I’m not so sure. The more AI systems interact with data, models, and autonomous agents, the harder it becomes to track where value actually comes from. A dataset improves a model, a model powers an agent, and that agent generates economic activity. After a while, contribution becomes difficult to measure and ownership becomes even harder to prove. That’s the part of OpenLedger that I find interesting. It isn’t just focused on AI performance; it’s focused on attribution, ownership, and liquidity across the AI stack. Most people ignore these questions while everything is running smoothly, but as AI economies grow, knowing who contributed, who owns what, and who should be rewarded could become one of the most important infrastructure challenges in the entire industry. That’s why $OPEN stands out to me not because it promises smarter AI, but because it’s trying to solve a problem that AI ecosystems may eventually be forced to address.
