In my point of view, most people are still looking at Genius Terminal through the wrong lens.

They see an AI terminal.

I think that’s only the surface narrative.

The deeper opportunity may be far bigger.

What caught my attention wasn’t the AI angle itself.

It was the infrastructure problem Genius appears to be addressing.

DeFi still has a structural weakness that the market often overlooks:

The more transparent on-chain trading becomes, the harder efficient execution gets.

Every whale wallet is visible.

Every large move can be tracked.

Every strategy leaks intent before execution is complete.

And once intent becomes visible, liquidity reacts.

That creates slippage.

It distorts price discovery.

It reduces execution efficiency.

This is exactly why Genius stands out.

It doesn’t feel like another trading dashboard competing for attention.

It feels like infrastructure being built for a much bigger shift:

private execution for on-chain finance.

That’s a serious category.

Because the next phase of DeFi may not be defined by who offers more access.

It may be defined by who delivers better execution quality.

Users already have access.

What they increasingly need is:

cleaner routing

lower visibility

smarter liquidity interaction

better fills

The market may still be pricing Genius through an AI narrative.

But from my perspective, the stronger thesis is this:

privacy could become the next major battleground for DeFi infrastructure.

So the real question is:

Are we looking at another terminal…

or an early foundation for private on-chain execution?
