Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about the idea behind OpenLedger and why AI attribution could actually become important later. Right now most people only focus on how powerful AI is becoming, but very few talk about where AI models get their knowledge from in the first place.

Millions of people create content, discussions, research, and information online every day, and AI systems learn from all of it somehow. Yet contributors usually receive no recognition or value back. That’s the part of OpenLedger that caught my attention.

The idea of tracking contributions and building a system around “payable AI” feels more meaningful than the usual hype driven AI crypto narratives. Of course the project is still early and there are risks like every crypto project, but at least it’s trying to explore a real issue connected to the future of AI ownership, transparency, and contributor value.
