The FTSE 100 was down 0.09% while Germany’s DAX gained 0.54% and France’s CAC 40 rose 0.35%. Sterling steadied, adding 0.01% to $1.3447 as of 03:22 ET (07:22 GMT).

Brent crude slipped 2.20% to $94.56 a barrel, giving back a portion of Tuesday’s 4% surge as traders sought clarity on negotiations, while WTI fell 2.7% to $91.37.
