I kept hearing Genius Terminal described as a trading platform. That framing undersells it, but it also creates a problem. When something tries to do everything, it usually does nothing particularly well. Yield farming is the test case for me.
Most trading terminals bolt on a yield tab as an afterthought. Genius routes yield through their native usdGG stablecoin system, which means it sits inside the same dashboard where you're already executing spot and perpetuals. No separate protocol, no switching tabs, no approving a new contract.
I opened the dashboard expecting a basic interface. The yield integration is cleaner than I expected. Whether the rates hold under real capital pressure is a different question. Yield strategies compress fast once enough money piles in. Right now it works. I want to see it six months from now.
