I used to think most crypto edges came from speed.

Faster execution. Faster information. Faster reactions.

But after spending more time watching wallet behavior on-chain, I’m not sure speed is the real advantage anymore.

A lot of the market already reacts quickly. Bots react quickly. Traders react quickly. Even narratives spread faster than they used to.

What feels more valuable now is interpretation.

A few months ago I kept noticing the same cluster of wallets appearing around smaller AI-related tokens before activity expanded publicly. Nothing dramatic at first.

Volume still looked quiet, sentiment was mostly flat, and timelines were barely talking about it. But certain wallets kept positioning early enough that it stopped feeling random.

Not perfect calls. Just consistent behavior.

That changed the way I started thinking about wallet analytics.

Most people still treat wallet tracking like a dashboard feature. Just another data layer beside charts and liquidity.

But I think the real value is behavioral mapping. Which wallets move together repeatedly. Which ones rotate into similar narratives. Which groups consistently reduce exposure before volatility increases.

Over time those relationships start creating an information network of their own.

That’s partly why @GeniusOfficial Terminal feels interesting to me. Not because wallet clustering is revolutionary by itself, but because markets always reward systems that reduce uncertainty even slightly.

Still, retention matters more than excitement.

Crypto users love intelligence tools during high attention cycles. The harder test is whether traders keep paying for those insights after the narrative cools down and speculation becomes quieter again.

That’s usually where real infrastructure reveals itself.
