$BTC H1 – Bear Flag or Just a Setup for a Stop Hunt?
$BTC is currently consolidating inside what looks like a classic bearish flag after a strong sell-off. On paper, this structure usually favors downside continuation.
But here's what catches my attention:
There's an untouched H1 FVG sitting right above price, around a key resistance area where many breakout traders are likely waiting to buy.
My view:
🔹 Price could push higher first and sweep that liquidity.
🔹 Breakout buyers jump in.
🔹 Shorts get stopped out.
🔹 FVG gets mitigated.
🔹 Then the real bearish move begins.
In other words:
Liquidity is above the market, but the larger objective may still be below it.
That's why I'm not interested in blindly shorting the current consolidation. I'd rather see price raid the highs, tap the H1 FVG, and show a clear rejection before looking for bearish continuation.
Levels I'm watching:
H1 FVG / Resistance: 74.8k – 75.1k
Key Support: 72k
Bearish target zone: 70k
Just my read on the current structure, liquidity, and price action.

🔹 Price could push higher first and sweep that liquidity.
🔹 Breakout buyers jump in.
🔹 Shorts get stopped out.
🔹 FVG gets mitigated.
🔹 Then the real bearish move begins.
