I’ll be honest the thing that keeps pulling me back to Genius isn’t a specific feature.
It’s the feeling that someone finally questioned the assumptions we've accepted for years in crypto.
Why should placing a trade require chain selection? Why should moving capital feel like a logistics operation? Why have we collectively accepted that friction is just part of the onchain experience?
The more I think about it, the stranger it seems.
Most industries try to hide complexity from users. Crypto often does the opposite. We expose every layer, every process, every technical detail, then call it decentralization. But traders don't wake up excited to manage infrastructure. They wake up looking for opportunities.
That's why Genius feels different to me.
It isn't trying to make blockchain more visible.
It's trying to make it less relevant.
And if that sounds simple, it's probably because the best product ideas usually are. They remove something that shouldn't have been there in the first place.
Maybe the future of onchain trading won't be defined by faster chains or bigger ecosystems.
Maybe it'll be defined by the moment traders stop thinking about chains altogether.
