Overtrading is a problem!

Overtrading doesn’t feel like a mistake when you’re doing it.

It feels like you’re being active. Like you’re trying. Like you don’t want to miss the next move.

But most of the time, it’s just noise disguised as effort.

I’ve noticed that my worst days don’t come from one bad trade. They come from a series of unnecessary ones. Entering when there’s no clear setup, forcing trades because the market is moving, or just being unable to sit still.

The truth is, not every day is meant for trading.

Some days are just for watching. For understanding how the market behaves without risking anything.

The hard part is accepting that doing nothing is also a decision.

Now I try to ask myself one thing before entering:

“Is this a real opportunity, or am I just bored?”

That question alone saved me from a lot of bad trades.
