Algorand just dropped their roadmap for quantum resistance. Makes sense timing-wise — most crypto nerds think quantum computers could break current encryption sometime in the 2030s.

So they're giving themselves a 4-year runway to harden everything before the quantum apocalypse potentially hits.

Smart move or just marketing? Honestly both. Most chains are pretending this isn't a problem yet. At least Algorand's putting a stake in the ground with actual dates.

Worth watching if you're long any L1s tbh. Quantum resistance is gonna be the new "scalability" — everyone will claim they have it, few will actually ship it on time.
