Ismael Saibari scored after 1:10 as Morocco beat Scotland 1-0, with the midfielder finishing a pass from Brahim Díaz past goalkeeper Angus Gunn before the 2’ mark. The goal was the fastest scored so far at the 2026 World Cup, according to Yahoo Sports.
Morocco led 1-0 at halftime and Scotland’s best late chances came in the 86th minute, when Scott McTominay hit the outside of the net and Lyndon Dykes headed wide from a corner. The result left Morocco 1-1-0 in Group C and Scotland 1-0-1.
