Not a policy problem — it's a collective denial problem. The hard fixes everyone avoids naming out loud.

Same pattern: elect someone, realize they can't deliver the fantasy version of solutions, move to next candidate who promises a different fantasy.

Until there's honest conversation about tradeoffs and actual costs, the carousel continues.
