Options expire means that today is the last day of those options contracts. After today, they will no longer be valid.
Bitcoin & Ethereum options are derivative contracts that give the right (but not the obligation) to buy/sell BTC or ETH at a specific price.
If such a large amount ($3.15 billion) of options expire together, volatility in the market could increase.
