🚨 $PAXG $XAU Bullish but starting to look overbought and tired
Volume check: 24h volume around 14.7k is pretty meh compared to the wilder days (like that 174k spike a while back). Not much fuel left in the tank for another big push right now.
Capital flow: This is the red flag for me. Big outflows lately – like -4.17M USDT in contracts over the last 4h. Sure, there's a tiny inflow in the last hour (+156k), but the longer-term trend is money leaving, especially on the leveraged side. Feels like buyers are taking profits or just stepping back.
Key stuff I'm seeing $PAXG :
- Price bumping into resistance around 4546 (today's high), with support not far below at 4488.
- RSI and KDJ screaming overbought, Bollinger %B way above 0.9 – classic pullback setup.
- MACD and MAs still look okay, but without fresh money coming in, momentum's fading fast.
My play: Cautious short / bearish pullback expected.
Entry: I'm eyeing a short around this resistance zone (4540-4550), but only if I see a proper rejection candle or it fails to break through convincingly. That's when it'd feel like a solid setup to me.
Stop-loss: 4670 if I get in around 4540 – don't want to get caught if it suddenly moons.
Target: Down to 4393 (S1 support)
