Aave's Proposal to Transfer Brand Assets to DAO Rejected
According to PANews, a proposal on the Aave governance forum to transfer Aave's brand assets, including domain names, social media accounts, and naming rights, to DAO control was rejected on December 26. The proposal, known as ARFC, aimed to address concerns over third-party control of these assets and sought to clarify ownership and usage through a DAO legal structure. The vote concluded with 994,800 votes against the proposal, representing 55.29% of the total, while only 63,000 votes were in favor. Additionally, 41.21% of participants abstained from voting.
