Binance founder #CZ confirmed that all users affected by the recent Trust Wallet #hack will be fully reimbursed, stating funds are “SAFU.”
The exploit impacted approximately $7 million across multiple assets, including $BTC , $ETH , and $BNB .
The vulnerability was isolated to #TrustWallet Browser Extension version 2.68; mobile apps and other extension versions were not affected.
Trust Wallet identified the issue on December 24, with exploitation occurring on December 25, and released a patched version 2.69 shortly after.
The reimbursement will be covered directly by Trust Wallet, not users or third parties.
