Hyperliquid Announces Monthly HYPE Token Unlock

Hyperliquid has also confirmed that a total of 1.2 million HYPE tokens in the possession of Hyperliquid Labs will be unstaked today and allocated among team members on January 6th. This has been reiterated by the platform to also happen on the 6th of each month going forward.

After the announcement, the price of HYPE declined slightly and is now trading at $25.27, a decline of 1.08% in the last 24 hours. The total supply for HYPE has a total of 961 million tokens, and 339 million tokens are in circulation before the unlock.

This is significant because it shows Hyperliquid's ongoing operations and token distribution schedule, which is not market speculation.
