Data is a vital asset for AI and web3 but data can easily be misused, tempered and manipulated. Data is always prone to malicious and manipulation attacks to mislead someone. There is no proveable, reliable and governable data storage solution in the web3 market. Walrus is truely achieving these milestones and proving a sustainable and scaleable data storage layer to web3.

Walrus is a decentralized storage layer especially designed to store unstructured large data in blobs (binary large objects). Reliable and verifiable for training of AI models and building dAPPs. Data is spread in shards all over the the network so that decentralization remain intact.

walrus is designed to remain reliable under "Byzantine faults" means if some nodes in the network fails data still remains reliable because it doesn't rely on these it uses Sui blockchain for verification of each blob when it is retrived.

community can set rules and restriction on usage and acess of data. Community can restict user and allow who can access to the data that walrus is governable.
