According to Odaily, on January 15, some Republican senators expressed strong dissatisfaction with the U.S. Department of Justice's investigation into Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell. They are expected to obstruct the nomination of a new Fed chair to uphold the central bank's independence. In response, U.S. President Donald Trump issued a firm reply.
Addressing the opposition within the Republican Party, Trump stated, "I don't care, there's nothing to say. They should remain loyal."
Additionally, Trump dismissed warnings from JPMorgan CEO Jamie Dimon, who suggested that Trump's interference with the Federal Reserve could increase inflation, saying, "I don't care what he says."
