The Senate Agriculture Committee announced on Monday (26) that it will postpone by two days the vote on the bill that regulates the cryptocurrency market in the United States due to a severe snowstorm that continues to delay travel into and out of Washington.
Originally scheduled for Tuesday (27), the vote still faces many obstacles. Among them are the possibility that the measure will fail to gain support from any Democratic senators and the likelihood that the federal government could enter another shutdown on Friday. This would push the vote even further down lawmakers’ list of priorities, as the vote had already been delayed
