Blockchain can be really confusing when you are new to it. The thing about DeFi is that it is like a digital bank that lots of people use together and they deal with each other directly. Then there are these things called Dapps which're basically apps that work on systems that are shared by many people not just stored on one companys server. A private Blockchain is like a room where only the people who are allowed in can see what is going on. All of these Blockchain ideas, like DeFi and Dapps and private Blockchain they all need one thing to work properly. That thing is called infrastructure. Blockchain infrastructure is what makes all of these Blockchain ideas possible.

WALRUS is about making the basics easy to use and work well. It is like the water pipes, in a house. When the pipes are working properly you do not even think about them.. If the pipes break everything comes to a halt. WALRUS makes sure that data gets where it needs to go and that it is always available so users do not have to think about how it gets there. WALRUS just helps the data move without any problems.

When the infrastructure is simple apps load fast and trust feels natural.

Developers can build tools for the infrastructure instead of fixing problems, with the infrastructure.

Users can focus on what they're doing with the apps instead of thinking about how the infrastructure works.

The lesson is clear. In blockchain simple systems create real value while flashy features only distract.
