When asked by reporters on Sunday evening whether he thinks Zelensky is ready to "give up" the territory seized by Russia in 2014, Trump responded, "Oh, I think so."
Speaking before boarding Air Force One, the U.S. President also described his meeting with Zelensky at Pope Francis’s funeral as very positive.
"It was a lovely meeting. It was a beautiful meeting," he said.
