Traders, take note — Futu is on fire!

Futu Holdings saw its quarterly profit soar 144%, fueled by booming trading activity in Hong Kong stocks and rapid growth in the crypto market. The online brokerage reported net income of HK$3.22 billion ($413.5M) for Q3, up from HK$1.32 billion a year earlier. Revenue also jumped 86% to HK$6.40 billion ($822.9M), according to today’s (Tuesday) results.

During the quarter, Futu added 254,000 funded accounts, bringing the total to 3.13 million, a 43% increase YoY and nearly 10% higher than Q2 2025. Hong Kong led the way in client acquisitions for the fourth consecutive quarter, as investors poured into the resurgent IPO market and rallying tech stocks.
