Israel carried out a blatant and flagrant bombardment across Lebanon. At least 254 people were killed and 1,165 others were wounded in air strikes that targeted areas in Beirut. Humanitarian aid was timely available. But the enormity or monstrosity of devastation is so egregious and horrendous. Israel contravened or infracted the bipartisan armistice or truce. The barbaric atrocity and massacre against the innocent lives in Palestine should be stopped. The UN is monopolized by the US and its obsequious or subservient allies. The self-assertive US demands servility or groveling of all countries under its feet. The world needs respite from hostility or vendetta.
