How Mira Works
Binarization
Mira initiates its verification process with binarization, a method that breaks down a complex AI response into smaller, clear claims that can be checked individually. Rather than validating the entire output at once, each statement is treated as a separate unit for accuracy.
For example, take the sentence: “Paris is the capital of France and the Eiffel Tower is its most famous landmark.” Mira would separate this into two claims: “Paris is the capital of France” and “the Eiffel Tower is a landmark in Paris.” By verifying each claim independently, Mira makes it easier to identify and correct mistakes and improves overall reliability.
Distributed Verification
After Mira divides an AI output into smaller statements known as claims, these claims are verified by specialized nodes across the network. Since no single node has access to the entire output, the system enhances privacy and makes it harder for any one party to manipulate results. By combining results from multiple verifiers, Mira helps minimize bias and lowers the chance of hallucinations in AI outputs.
Proof of Verification
Mira’s proof of verification combines economic incentives with computational checks to ensure reliable results. It combines Proof of Work (PoW), where verifiers must demonstrate genuine inference, with Proof of Stake (PoS), where participants stake tokens to align their interests with the network.
If dishonest behavior is detected through statistical checks, the verifier’s staked tokens are slashed. This design discourages misconduct while rewarding verifiers who provide accurate and trustworthy results.
Building Applications on Mira
Mira Flows allows developers to build applications on Mira’s verification network through a marketplace of pre-built AI workflows. These workflows include common tasks such as summarization, data extraction, and multi-stage pipelines.
Developers can integrate them directly into products using simple API calls. They can also create more customized solutions with the Mira Flows SDK, a Python toolkit for building and adjusting AI pipelines. The SDK enables the integration of large language models with knowledge bases, facilitating the development of chatbots, advanced workflows, and data analysis tools.

Users who subscribed their BNB to Simple Earn and/or On-Chain Yields products from September 20 to 22 were eligible to receive MIRA airdrops. A total of 20 million MIRA tokens were allocated to the program, accounting for 2% of the total token supply.
