CEASEFIRE AGREEMENT CONFIRMED ✅

Iran responded with an official announcement through its Minister of Foreign Affairs: they accept the two-week ceasefire, following the work of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, to open a window for negotiation aimed at permanent de-escalation.

Their message states that, following the US’ request for a negotiation based on their 15-points proposal, and the acceptance as ‘workable’ of the 10 main points of the counter-proposal submitted by Iran, a path to negotiation is open.

The Strait of Hormuz is now open under the supervision of the Iranian armed forces.

What is important to note:

Enthusiasm has resumed on the market.

Bitcoin has fallen above 70,000, and oil has already fallen.

But as Iran mentioned, this is only a negotiation window to give diplomacy a chance again.

Negotiations will resume on Friday in Pakistan, which will act as the main mediator.

The 10 points of the Iranian counter-proposal will serve as a basis, the foundation from which all discussions will be built.

Among these points:

> guarantees that Iran and its allies (including proxies) will no longer be attacked

> collect transit costs (to be shared with Oman) for the reconstruction of Iran, even during the current ceasefire

Now, the enthusiasm of the market is based on headlines...

The situation remains extremely fragile.

The ceasefire is based on a strike break.

Another important point:

The agreement mainly concerns US and Iran.

Israel is not directly involved, which leaves a risk of indirect or low-intensity strikes.

That said, the fact that Pakistan managed to get this agreement in the very last minutes shows real pressure and diplomatic seriousness.

We can expect an evolution of the negotiations in the coming days.

But nothing is guaranteed.

A negotiation can fail at any time.

One party can break its commitments.

And the climb can resume immediately.

Be careful.

Case to follow.
