🚨BREAKING NEWS : Iran Now Collects Bitcoin Tolls from Oil Tankers Crossing Strait of Hormuz
Iran has begun collecting Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as tolls from oil tankers passing through the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz, according to recent reports. Ships carrying crude oil must now pay about 1 U.S. dollar per barrel of cargo in Bitcoin before they are allowed to transit the narrow waterway. The new rule, part of a broader “Strait of Hormuz Management Plan,” requires tankers to submit details such as cargo volume, crew list, and destination. Once the Bitcoin payment is confirmed, operators receive an electronic passcode and an escort from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) navy forces.
