I came across Stacked while going through Pixels and at first it didn’t really make sense

it didn’t feel like part of the game

and it wasn’t something you actually use while playing

so I kind of ignored it

but after looking into it a bit more

it started to feel like it’s doing something else not gameplay but something around it

from what I understand

Stacked tracks what players are doing not just big things

even small actions over time

and that activity doesn’t just stay inside the game it gets measured

and that’s where it started to feel different to me

because now it’s not just about playing and progressing

it’s like what you do actually builds into something outside of just the game

at first it didn’t feel like a big deal but then I thought about it

once something is tracked properly it can be compared and once it’s compared

it can be rewarded differently so now it’s not just about playing

it’s also about how you play and how consistently you show up and that changes things a bit

because when you know your activity matters you don’t really play the same way anymore

you start thinking about it more so Stacked doesn’t just sit there tracking

it kind of shapes behavior over time even if it’s not obvious

and that’s what makes it interesting to me because it’s not part of the game directly

but it still affects how the whole system feels

the more I think about it

the more it feels like Stacked is connecting everything players do not just single actions

but how consistent you are over time and once that starts getting tracked

it’s not just gameplay anymore it becomes something that can be compared

and possibly rewarded differently so it doesn’t feel like just a side tool

it feels like something shaping the system quietly

so now I wanna know something

Is Stacked just measuring what players do?

or is it slowly changing how they approach Pixels?
