I was just farming on @Pixels while doing things like planting, harvesting, repeating the same loop again and again and at first it feels normal, like any farming game
but then you notice something small
everything you do costs energy
every crop you plant
every action you take
it all drains something in the background
and once that energy is gone
you don’t stop because you want to
you stop because you have to stop
so now the question is
is farming in #pixel really about crops?
or is it actually about how long the system lets you keep going?
because crops are simple,
you plant → you harvest → you sell or reuse
but energy changes that loop
it controls how much you can do
how fast you can progress
how often you come back
and even when you wait
you’re still inside the system
waiting for it to let you continue again
so farming doesn’t just produce resources like $PIXEL it produces sessions
and now it starts to feel different
is energy just a mechanic in Pixels?
or is it quietly controlling how players move through Pixels 🤔
